Abandoned Japan Farm Aqueduct

Discovering evidence of a curious structure in the mountains of Japan.

I forgot to mention in this video an important piece of evidence which led me to believe this structure may have been an aqueduct. Namely, I discovered the wall while following the course of an abandoned water pipe which was once used to supply stream water to a nearby farm. The old pipeline runs nearly parallel to the stone wall though at a slightly higer elevation.
