Buddhist Cemetery in a Japanese Forest

While exploring along a lonely road in the high mountains of central Japan I spotted this cemetery peeking through a curtain of green. The graves appeared well tended though the few old homes in the area appeared unoccupied or abandoned. The natural setting was lovely and I could think of few better places to rest in peace.
